Nick was a frequent supporter of Confluence HRKC, a harm reduction organization in Kansas City, MO. Co-founded in 2020 by Grace Ambrose, a former Washington Grove resident, Confluence HRKC has grown from a volunteer-run mutual aid project into the largest provider of overdose prevention services in the region.

Nick believed in Confluence’s mission of reducing overdoses, preventing new HIV infections, and empowering people who use drugs to make positive changes. He especially believed in how they do this work and knew that by supporting a small, grassroots organization he could be sure his donations were going toward their intended purpose, directly supporting the on-the-ground work of saving lives.
