In 2024 we distributed 67,231 doses of naloxone.
We are the largest distributor of this life-saving medication in the state of Missouri. Almost all of the naloxone we distribute goes directly into the hands of people who use drugs, who are most likely to be present at an overdose.
We know that every overdose death is a preventable one and we believe in developing programs that are low-barrier, compassionate, and drug user-centered and always strive to meet our participants with love and respect.
We operated out of a basement for two years before moving to our very own office space. In early 2023, we brought on our first paid staff. We now have five part-time staff members, a warehouse and office space, and an outreach va.
Our work is supported by community donations and grants from places like The National Council for Mental Well-Being, NACCHO, the AIDS Service Foundation, NASTAD, Remedy Alliance/For the People, and the Addiction Science team at MIMH.
